Ross Mackenzie is the Conduct, Business Risk & Controls Officer for the Investment Bank & Corporate Bank at Deutsche Bank, based in London. He assumed this role in July 2021 and focuses on non-financial risk management in the 1st line as well as delivery of client lifecycle and know your customer controls. Ross has a proven track record of delivering control enhancement and large scale transformation in all three lines of defense.   

Ross joined Deutsche Bank in 2014 and has held a variety of roles, including: Global Chief Operating Officer for the Chief Risk Office division; Head of Portfolio, Analysis & Control for Market Risk Management; and, Global Chief Operating Officer of Market Risk Management & Risk Methodology. 

With over twenty years’ experience in financial services, Ross joined Deutsche Bank from Credit Suisse. He started his career in external audit & advisory.

Ross is a Chartered Accountant, a graduate of the University of Glasgow in Accounting & Finance and Harvard Business School where he studied General Management.
