Richard Fielder was appointed as the Chief Compliance Officer for ICBC Standard Bank PLc in April 2012, and as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer in August 2022. He is the FATCA Reporting Officer and SWAP Dealer Chief Compliance Officer for ICBC Standard Bank Plc. Mr Fielder previously worked at Morgan Stanley in London, where he worked in the Compliance function as the Chief Operations Officer for Compliance, Private Side Advisory Officer and the Control Room Manager. Mr Fielder worked at Morgan Stanley from 2004 to 2012.

Mr Fielder is a Trustee for the charity State2Bar which promotes social mobility for state schooled children trying to get into the Legal Profession.
