Martina brings 20+ years of experience within the financial markets with a focus on market structure, rules and regulation from both a European and U.S. perspective. At Eventus, she is focused on working internally and externally to interpret client needs and advocate for best practices and efficiencies within the surveillance environment.

Prior to joining Eventus, Martina was head of MarketWatch at Nasdaq, the surveillance team for Nasdaq’s U.S. equity markets. She led the team with a focus on protecting investors in ensuring fair and transparent markets by building and maintaining surveillance programs to monitor markets for market manipulation and insider trading and by ensuring that rules and regulations were followed. She also participated in Nasdaq's effort to implement AI into its surveillance program.

Before coming to the U.S., Martina served as Head of European Trading Surveillance in Stockholm. Prior to joining Nasdaq in 2008, she was a Portfolio Manager for institutional clients at DNB Asset Management. Martina holds a Masters in Finance from Stockholm University.
