Since joining ING as the Global Head of Financial Crime Compliance, Ingrid is now the Global ESG Compliance Change Lead with group responsibility within ING.

Prior to joining ING, Ingrid has had an extensive career, most recently with EY Netherlands as a Director of Risk Management. She has also  heald various roles at ABN Amro among which she was the Global Head Financial Crime Compliance, Head of Group Compliance BU Netherlands, Global Private Banking and Global Asset Management.

She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam, is a Chartered Accountant and has a Sustainable Business certificate from the University of Groningen Business School. In her spare time, Ingrid is an Advisory Board Member for the VU University of Amsterdam on their KYC course. She was a member of the Wolfsberg Group representing ABN Amro in the past and a trainer for the Dutch Compliance Institute.
