At the Bank of New York Mellon Imtiaz is the Head of Audit for EMEA Investment Services and the UK and Ireland Head of Audit.  Imtiaz is also responsible for the Client Asset Safety Subject Matter Expertise team. His primary responsibilities include delivery of audit projects and seamless operations of the Audit Functions. Imtiaz is also responsible for chairing International Audit Risk Council (for dynamic risk assessment and emerging risk monitoring) and is responsible for driving Audit’s Agile Transformation initiative. He attends multiple Audit Committees and Boards, including the UK Bank ESG Working Group.  Imtiaz holds the SMF 5 role for Pershing and is also a Certificated Individual for the UK Bank under the Senior Managers & Certification Regime.

Imtiaz completed his MBA in International Finance and Strategy from George Washington University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds several certifications in the field of Banking and Project Management.  Imtiaz is part of Climate Reality Leadership Corps, a charitable institution chaired by the US Vice President Al Gore.
