Ide is the Head of Communications Surveillance for EMEA and APAC at The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). She is responsible for overseeing the e-communication and voice surveillance program across the second line of defense. Driving the execution of the firm’s global communications policy across all asset classes, including Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Global Asset management, Investor and Treasury Services.

With her passion for communications surveillance, Ide played a key role in the implementation and onboarding of the automated, NLP based surveillance solution for communication surveillance at her firm.

Ide has over 10 years’ experience within the financial sector and prior to her transition to finance, she held various roles within the legal sector. Ide also spent over five years in alternative dispute resolution and held multiple roles at the Financial Ombudsman Service.
