Hina Haque
Hina has over twenty years’ experience in Debt Capital Markets and Investment Banking. Over the last eight years Hina has focused on the risk and control space, whilst developing specific expertise in corporate governance frameworks and risk mitigation via effective control management.
Hina is currently employed within the Markets and Securities Services business for HBSC in London where she is globally leading First Line Assurance, Risk Specialisations and Supervision for the business. Prior to this, Hina worked with RBS performing a number of roles for them which included working for their Treasury function. During her last few years at RBS, she was heavily involved in developing and delivering to the firm’s control and conduct agenda. She was formerly working with ABN AMRO Bank N.V in London heading their Structured Capital Syndicate desk before moving to RBS.
Throughout her career, Hina has been exposed to working in a number of jurisdictions outside the UK which have added to her understanding of differing local regulations and risk factors.
Hina holds a Masters in Development Studies from the London School of Economics & Political Science and an Undergraduate degree in International Relations and Economics from the University of Reading.
