Geeta Rajamani has been in the financial services for over thirty years and served in diverse positions including equity research, credit, business analytics, data management operations, and KYC Operations. She now serves as MUFG’s Managing Director and Head of the First Line of Defense Control Office – responsible for oversight, governance and end to end execution of KYC. 

During her twenty year tenure at MUFG, Geeta served as Onboarding and KYC Unit Managing Director, Data Officer for Ops as well as head of the Data Assurance group. She’s led a series of strategic initiatives such as implementation of a MDM platform, establishment of a Middle Office, Target Operating model for US KYC and other transformational projects across data, technology and process.

Prior to MUFG, Geeta worked at Oracle, BNP Paribas, Peregrine Capital and Citi. She has an engineering degree from BITS Pilani and an MBA in Finance from IIM, Calcutta. Geeta lives in NJ with her husband, 2 daughters and their beloved beagle, Brownie.
