Erik Grossman is the Senior Advisor in OFAC’s Office of Enforcement, Compliance, and Analysis (ECA).  .  Along with his duties as Senior Advisor, he also produces OFAC’s video guidance program, available on YouTube and OFAC’s website.  Erik started in Treasury in 2019 when he was brought on as Special Advisor to the Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Sigal P. Mandelker.  Erik then served as Senior Advisor in the Office of Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes before joining OFAC in 2020 as a Licensing Officer where he covered Syria, Africa, and Iran.  In 2022, Erik became a Senior Compliance Officer in ECA’s Compliance Division, covering Iran, Syria, diamonds, defense and construction materials, agriculture and medicine, NGOs, and private sector outreach.  Prior to his time in government, Erik spent 10 years working in entertainment and social media.  He received his B.A. in English from the University of Southern California, and his M.A. in Security Policy from the George Washington University.
