Dario has 23 years of experience working in the financial services industry and he is Head of Global Markets, Global Treasury, Global Credit Finance and Alpha Compliance across EMEA for State Street.

Dario oversees a team of compliance officers spread across London, Frankfurt and Munich. With his team, he ensures that the Compliance program is designed and executed across all the business units and legal entities under his remit and that, as a result, all the business activities are performed in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements as well as internal policies.

Dario is the Compliance voting member on various governance forums both in UK and EU, as well as the compliance representative on the board of directors of various State Street entities.

Dario joined State Street in November 2018 from Goldman Sachs in London where he spent 12 years holding various roles and responsibilities within the compliance department across EMEA. During this time at Goldman he has contributed, amongst other things, to the establishment of Goldman’s presence in Saudi Arabia from a compliance and financial crime perspective and his last role was Head of the EMEA Market Solutions Group Compliance team in London.

Dario started his career at JPMorgan in the finance division. He then moved to KPMG offering advisory services to banks and financial institutions before joining Goldman Sachs.

Dario graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi university in Milan.
